My Eats: Your Personal Dining Favorites

My Eats is a free personal dining tracker built into every Wildfire CityPages account. It gives you a private place to save your favorite local restaurants, note the dish you always order, and keep personal tips so the details you discover stay with you. There is nothing to install and nothing to pay for.

My Eats is available to all registered CityPages members. Access it from any Wildfire CityPages community site at /myeats or through the Eats menu.

What My Eats includes

  • Save restaurants

Click the heart on any restaurant in the Eats directory or on its business page to add it to your personal list. Click it again to remove it. Your saved list is waiting for you at /myeats anytime you want to browse or plan.

  • 🍴

    Favorite Dish

Note the dish you always order, or the one a friend recommended that you have not tried yet. It appears right on the card so you never blank on what to get when you walk in the door.

  • 📝

    Personal notes

Add anything worth remembering: a parking tip, a table you prefer, what to avoid, a birthday dinner memory, who suggested the place. Your notes are visible right on the saved card every time you look at your list.

  • 🏷

    Category filters

Your saved list organizes automatically by cuisine type. Filter down to Burgers, Italian, Mexican, Sushi, or whatever you are in the mood for, and only the restaurants you have saved in that category appear.

  • 🔒

    Completely private

Your saved restaurants, favorite dishes, and notes are visible only to you. Nothing is shared publicly, and no one else can see your list.

Your data follows you to the restaurant page

When you visit the business page for a restaurant you have saved, My Eats comes with you. The heart in the page header shows filled, confirming it is on your list. Below the restaurant information, your Favorite Dish and notes appear in a private My Eats section visible only to you.

Edit from anywhere

The pencil icon on your saved card or on the restaurant's business page opens the same edit panel. Update your favorite dish or notes from your saved list or right from the restaurant page, whichever is more convenient.

How to get started

  1. 1

Create a free CityPages account and confirm your email address. Email confirmation is required before saving restaurants.

  2. 2

Browse the Eats directory and click the heart on any restaurant you want to save.

  3. 3

Click the pencil on any saved card to add your Favorite Dish and personal notes.

  4. 4

Go to /myeats anytime to see your full saved list, filter by category, and plan your next outing.

  5. Visit any saved restaurant's business page and your favorites data is right there with you.

Tip: Email confirmation is required to save

You need to confirm your email address before you can save a restaurant. If the heart does not respond when you click it, check your inbox for the confirmation email and complete that step first.

"We have fantastic local restaurants in this area, and the ones worth going back to deserve to be remembered properly. My Eats is our way of making sure the great discoveries you make stay with you, and that the local places you love keep getting the attention they deserve."

Open My Eats

My Eats is one of several free tools available to Wildfire CityPages members. Local restaurants thrive when neighbors discover them, go back regularly, and share what makes them worth the visit. My Eats is our way of making that a little more organized and a little more personal.
